UNEX UGV within Czech-Indian Defence Cooperation

The UNEX UGV developed by ABRIS DG is set to be introduced to the Indian market as part of a broader Czech-Indian defence industrial collaboration.

UGVR Machinery, a Czech defence technology company and a subsidiary of ABRIS DG, has entered into a cooperation agreement with the Indian Ministry of Defence.

The announcement of the partnership was made during the India-Czechia Joint Defence Industry Seminar, organised by the Czech Ministry of Defence in cooperation with the Embassy of India. The event focused on strengthening bilateral defence industrial ties and exploring joint manufacturing opportunities.

As part of this framework, cooperation is established with the Indian defence technology company Anablade Limited, combining Czech expertise in producing advanced unmanned ground systems with Indian operational capabilities.

The UNEX UGV represents one of the most cutting-edge ground robotic platforms to be introduced into the Indian defence ecosystem. Amphibious and fully electric, UNEX operates across land and water in environments inaccessible to conventional vehicles, carrying payloads of up to 1,700 kg for multiple mission configurations – including fire support, logistics, CASEVAC and demining.

We, as ABRIS DG, are excited to announce that our fully owned subsidiary in the Czech Republic, UGVR Machinery, in collaboration with Anablade Limited, will deliver the first UNEX UGV to India before the end of the calendar year.
This is a big milestone for our expansion into the international market,

– said Juandré de Bruyn, CEO of ABRIS Design Group.
