Design Engineer
We’re looking for a Design Engineer to join our R&D team and help create next-generation unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). You’ll be involved in the entire design cycle — from concept to real product — working on advanced technologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
This role is for you if you enjoy turning ideas into tangible, high-tech products; you’re detail-oriented and passionate about precision engineering; you thrive in a team environment and value collaboration; you want to contribute to innovations in aerospace and UAV technology.
What is your Day to Day Mission:
· Design & Development
· Create UAV designs using CAD systems (SolidWorks or similar).
· Perform structural and aerodynamic calculations, including FEM analysis.
· Work with composite materials and additive manufacturing technologies.
· Prototyping & Testing
· Participate in building prototypes, conducting tests, and refining designs.
· Integrate electronic systems, propulsion units, sensors, and payloads into the overall design.
· Documentation & Collaboration
· Prepare and maintain technical documentation: drawings, specifications, and requirements.
· Cooperate with manufacturing teams to ensure design compliance and implement updates.
What you bring you to the team:
· Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
· 3+ years’ experience in a design engineering role in a related field.
· Proficiency in CAD systems (SolidWorks or equivalent).
· Maintenance of design and related documentation.
· Understanding of aerodynamics and practical knowledge of engineering mechanics.
· Understanding the principles of electronic component integration.
· Practical experience in prototype development and collaboration with production teams.
· A systematic approach to completing tasks and analysing potential problems
· Full professional proficiency in the English language
Would be a plus:
· Proven experience in designing aircraft, UAVs, or similar products.
· Experience with composites (preferred) and additive manufacturing.
· Experience with military or civil UAVs.
· Knowledge of certification standards (MIL-STD, ISO, DIN, DSTU).
· Basic knowledge of electronics, control, and navigation systems.
· Knowledge in the field of surveying drones, photogrammetry and lidar data evaluation is an advantage.
What We Offer:
A chance to be part of a fast-growing company with an innovative culture.
A collaborative, team-oriented environment where your ideas can make a real impact.
Competitive salary and benefits package.
