About the Company

We are an engineering and manufacturing company specialising in the development and production of ground vehicles.

We develop our own product line and continuously improve existing products, create new modifications, and prepare prototypes for serial production.

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer / Mechanical Engineer to join our development team.

Requirements: 

• Technical degree in mechanical engineering, engineering, or a related field;
• At least 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer;
• Experience in the development of machines, mechanisms, vehicles, or other complex mechanical equipment;
• Confident use of Autodesk and/or other CAD systems;
• Practical experience in 3D modelling and preparation of engineering documentation;
• Understanding of complex assemblies, parametric and skeleton modelling principles;
• Understanding of manufacturing technologies for parts and assemblies;
• Understanding of strength calculations for parts and structures;
• Experience selecting components and technically suitable alternatives based on specifications;
• Experience working with manufacturing teams, process engineers, and suppliers;
• Ability to independently handle individual design tasks while working effectively as part of a team;
• English proficiency at B1–B2 level or higher.

Would be an advantage

• Experience in R&D or new technology development;
• Experience in prototyping and prototype testing;
• Experience taking a design from prototype to serial production;
• Experience providing engineering support during manufacturing and assembly;
• Practical experience with special-purpose equipment, particularly robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Participating in the development and improvement of ground vehicles;
• Designing mechanical systems, assemblies, parts, and structural elements;
• Creating and updating 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings;
• Developing engineering solutions for new platform modifications;
• Selecting components and identifying technically suitable alternatives;
• Collaborating with process engineers, manufacturing teams, and suppliers;
• Supporting the manufacturing and assembly of prototypes;
• Participating in testing and analysing test results;
• Making design modifications based on manufacturing, assembly, and testing results;
• Participating in preparing products for serial production;
• Providing engineering oversight of the implementation of developed design solutions;
• Availability for occasional business trips abroad and within the Czech Republic, if required.
